Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are popular tourist destinations in Ninh Binh province. Explore the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu and the scenic landscape in Tam Coc dominated by rice fields and karst towers.

 Leave Hanoi for Ninh Binh province in the morning (115km South of Hanoi). Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda is considered to be the most biggest pagoda in the South-East Asia. After the visit of Bai Dinh Pagoda you will be taken to visit the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu - the remains are the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le who lived in 10th century and chose HoaLu to build the citadel in the capital city. Tour ends in Hanoi late afternoon. (L)
