With full day tour you will have a chance to visit two Vietnam cultural world heritages: My Son Sanctuary and the ancient town of Hoi An. Hoi An is a small city in Central Vietnam famous for its wooden houses, family chapels, Assembly Halls and for its silk shops. It is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab merchants who traded mainly in high quality silks. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.   

The tour will start from your hotel in HoiAn in the morning. Drive to visit My Son (40 km from Hoi An). The My Son Sanctuary is an exceptional example of cultural interchange, with the introduction the Hindu architecture of the Indian sub-continent into South-East Asia. On the way back to Hoi An stop to visit Tra Kieu, formerly known as Simhapura or the Lion Citadel, that once stood as the capital of Champa between the 4th and 8th centuries. Afternoon tour in the ancient town of Hoi An, visit its numerous places of interest: 400 years old Japanese Covered Bridge, 300 years old Chinese temple, 200 years old former merchants' house. (L)
