Day 1: Arrival - Meet at Hanoi International Airport and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure. (D)

Day 2: Hanoi - City tour in Hanoi, visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (if open), Ho Chi Minh's house on stilt, One Pillar Pagoda - one of the few structures remaining from the original foundation of the city, then have a walk to visit Tran Quoc pagoda - the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi. After that transfer to visit Hoan Kiem lake & Ngoc Son temple and walking around the Old Quarter. This evening enjoy a water puppetry show. Dinner and night in Hanoi. (B,L)

Day 3: Hanoi / Halong  - Drive overland to Halong City (170 km). Arrive in Halong at noon. Get on the junk. Have lunch, while seeing thousands of sculpted limestone islands. We cruise to the inside of magical landscape of Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Titov Beach... Take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnels with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon, visit fishermen village. Dinner and night onboard. (Option 2: Overnight at hotel in Halong and visit Tuan Chau Island on the next morning). (B,L,D)

Day 4: Halong / Hanoi - After soft breakfast (cake + coffee / or tea / or fruit juice) continue to discover Halong Bay. Visit Sung Sot cave. Have buffet brunch before getting on Halong city. Drive back to Hanoi and arrive in Hanoi in the afternoon. After dinner depart for Hue by night train. Overnight (soft berth) on the train. (B,L)

Day 5: Hue  - Morning arrive in Hue City which was the capital of Vietnam ruled by the Nguyen dynasty between 1802 and 1945. Afternoon: visit Imperial Citadel. Night in Hue. (B,L)

Day 6: Hue / Danang - A boat trip along romantically named Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Hon Chen temple, the tomb of the Former Emperor Minh Mang.

Drive to Danang (110 km) where you will visit Cham museum, which holds the finest collection of Cham artwork in the country. Visit Lang Co beach and Hai Van pass on the way. Night in Danang. (B,L)

Day 7: Danang / Hoi An / Nha Trang - Transfer to Hoi An. Take a tour of the ancient town to visit the homes of former merchants, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the exotic local market... After dinner we board the night train to Nha Trang. Overnight on the train (soft berth). (B,L)

Day 8: Nha Trang - Arrive in Nha Trang where is considered as Vietnam’s Mediterranean area. Morning at leisure. This afternoon a coach trip to visit Long Son Pagoda, the Ponagar Cham towers and Hon Chong rocks. Two nights in Nha Trang. (B,L)

Day 9: Nha Trang  - A half day boat trip in Nha Trang Bay, visiting Hon Tam islet and fishermen village, swimming and relaxing on the island beaches. (B,L)

Day 10: Nha Trang / Ho Chi Minh City - Drive along the coastline to Ho Chi Minh City (450 km) with the lunch on the way. Arrive at your hotel in time for dinner. Two nights in Ho Chi Minh City. (B,L)

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City - Full day tour of Ho Chi Minh City includes Thien Hau Pagoda, the War Remnants museum, Reunification Hall which is the former Presidential Palace. Have a walk to visit China town, passing Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office... Dinner and night in Sai Gon. (B)

Day 12: Departure - Morning at leisure before transferring you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure. (B)
