Day 1: Hanoi / Halong / Quan Lan Island - Drive overland to Ha Long City (170 km). Arrive in Halong at noon. Lunch at a restaurant. After lunch continue to go to VanDon (60 km from Halong). Take the speed boat from Van Don to Quan Lan island (40 minutes). Check in hotel in Quan Lan at around 16:00. Free at leisure on the beach late afternoon. Overnight at hotel. (L, D)

Day 2: Quan Lan - The  car (or  tuk-tuk) will meet you at your hotel and take you to visit some spots in the island such as temples, Quan Lan Pagoda (Linh Quang Tu), which is dedicated to Buddha and God Lieu Hanh. Afternoon at leisure on the beach. (B,L,D)

Day 3: Quan Lan / Hanoi - Take the speed boat from Quan Lan to Van Don. The car is waiting for you at the boat station and take you back to Hanoi. Lunch at a restaurant in Halong. Arrive in Hanoi in the afternoon. (B,L)
