Pleiku
Pleiku is a town in central Vietnam, located in that nation’s Central Highland region. It is the capital of the Gia Lai province; it is inhabited primarily by the Bahnar and Jarai ethnic groups, sometimes known as the Montagnards or Defar.
The town is the center of the urban district of Pleiku which covers an area of 261 km. The town sits at the junction of several highways – the northern road to Kontum and the highway west to Streng Treng in Cambodia.
Pleiku is located in the center of a fertile plateau and about 550 km from Sai Gon. In Pleiku you can see Gia Lai forest, Yali waterfall. You will also have opportunities to ride an elephant, enjoy folk dance performance.

To Nung Lake (T’nung Lake or Bien Ho – Sea Lake) is situated in Bien Ho Commune, approximately 8km from Pleiku city, Gia Lai Province. Tourists in have to pass through a green shade of pine trees before reaching To Nung Lake. Tourists can take a “thuyen doc moc” to discover the hidden charms of the lake, to see the shadows of the pure and sparkling surface of the lake and to jump into the forest to explore the wild nature. Here, tourists have chance to see plenty of diversified flora and fauna. In 1988, To Nung Lake was recognized as a national landscape for its beauty by the Ministry of Culture and Information.
Yaly Waterfall is located between Kon Tum and Gia Lai Province. It is 15km to the North of Pleiku city. On the way traveling from Gia Lai to Kon Tum, will reach Yaly Waterfall, the most beautiful and largest Central Highlands’ waterfalls on Po Co.
